Photography & Boobs

Two things I love and don't think I would be happy without. Photography and nice mammaries, put the two together, it's like having sex in the shower. Clean and dirty at the same time. Vanguard since.

It's My HEEEAD! I WILL SEE YOU IN COURT!....HAHAHAHA

John Malkovich is a prolific American actor. He is an influential voice and powerful presence, the incredibly proficient thespian, and he has inspired many amongst the film industry. He is one who truly respects and hones his craft. He's so dope he's inspired a non-biographical film that is pretty much about BEING HIM. Who has that!? "Being John Malkovich" is one of my all-time favorite films, and this scene highlights how brilliant he is. There may not be a very diverse array of characters portrayed, but you can tell that this guy is one of the best.

The scene: People have been paying to go through a secret portal to see through the eyes of John Malkovich. When John discovers what's been goin' on he decides to go into the portal to see for himself. The question posed: What would it be like for John Malkovich to go into his own portal. A very eerie reality. But absolutely brilliant! I encourage you to watch the entire movie so you can see how this actually ends. John Malkovich, Vanguard Since December 9, 1953.

MY HERO!

Harmony Korine is an American artist. He is best known for writing 'Kids' and for directing 'Gummo', 'Julien Donkey-Boy' and 'Mister Lonely'. He has been a prominent figure in independent film, music and art throughout the past decade. I love this guy because like most of my heros, I see a sense of me inside 'em. But moreover, this guy creates the most very amazingly cool greatnessful life films, totally Vanguard. His latest film 'Trash Humpers', yes, 'Trash Humpers' premiered at Toronto International Film Festival and won the main prize, the DOX Award, at CPH:DOX in November 2009. Just check him out somewhere, google him or something. I know about 'em and don't feel like explaining, and they're tryna kick me out of Panera Bread. So, just do your own research. Vanguard since 1973.

I'm Back!!!

Man, real life can be a bummer. This is my first time doin' the whole blog thing, and the idea of being able to be consistent with my post has been manifested, it's not easy, especially when you have a life to take on, and projects that you are trying to bring to life. Its a juggle. But, hey....I don't know, i don't have anything clever to say. I'm back. Vanguard since 2009.

Your Doublemint Gum Annoys My Life

To be completely autonomous in thought, and in deed. That's my ultimate goal in life. It's hard living and having to submit your will to another entity. Worrying about what people say about you, and being overly concious of possible judgement and concequence is worse than being in debt. Being emotionaly indebted. Scared, anxious, and tired. To worry about where you're goin' is to say that you don't know. To say you don't know is to say you're in limbo. I shouldn't care if I ever get there. Like the enlightened homeless bumb with no worries. To some degree he even submits his will; as a begger he submits his will; as a straggler he doesn't know his next meal or bed. "Save yourself", the old lady says from the soul of her sticky chewing gum. I told her I'm not sure it's up to me.

If He Can Do It So Can I

A represented by a divergent series of inspirations and themes, Brian Wood’s 2010 spring “Our Ransom is Love” collection draws from familiar and traditional themes. The use of military and nautical themes coincide with some other staple styles in detailed form with desert camo highlights and various prints.

Sweeter than Sweets

Two of my favorite bands in the entire WORLD! Gnarls Barkley covers Radioheads' "Reckoner" from 'In Rainbows'. In my opinion, Ceel-Lo's rendering of the record isn't quite as stupefying as Thom Yorkes version, but Cee-Lo's is a valiant effort. I love this, more than soft snicker-doodle. Peep, enjoy. Vanguard since the discovery of sound.

Wanna See Something Fresh??

I'm a big fan of dystopian movies, it's great to see different directors and writers interpretation of a futuristic utopia or vice-versa. This one, THX 1138, is a "chilling" look at a 25th-century totalitarian state where mankind is stripped of ANY individuality, probably similar to where we're headed today. People are numbered drones, and a government-enforced program of sedating drugs controls the populace. The story’s title character, THX, is a factory worker whose life is irrevocably changed when he stops taking his mind-numbing drugs. (Directed by George Lucas). Welcome to the future, 2010 and beyond. Vanguard Since 1971.

On To The Next One

It's 2010, and we are on to the next one. New resolutions, new shoes, possibly new ideals and beliefs. The idea of the illuminatti is nothing new at all, but is a very intriguing idea. "I'm just an artist". That'd probably be Jay-Zs response to his brilliantly blasphemous "On to the Next One" video. I'm sure by now everyones talking about it, and it's obvious. The images and subliminal messages are overwhelming. From the outside, looking with blind eyes you see a dope ass video about nothing. But the halo over Jay-Z's head the entire video is a manifest symbol of not only being a God MC, but a Godbody, ridiculing the notions of reverence. To air an impious video on the Eve of the New Year for the masses to see is a very-very formidable and telling act. For a network like MTV to allow "On to the Next One" to be viewed by MILLIONS on yesterday shows such a strong hand on Jay's part. Throughout the video, the countless illuminatti symbols make you wonder. Is Jay-Z doing this because he wants to fuck with people, or does this guy, who has set so many trends, and influenced billions of people (as if he were a prophet) really worship something bigger than we can ever fathom? IDK. But the seemingly illogical video is interesting to look at. It's great. In all it's beauty, there is an underlying eeriness that wows you. The 'Dark Knight', the skulls, the flashing words "I always knew I'd be like this" (as if he sold himself) right after you see the illuminati bull symbol which represents the 5-point star, or the bullets and the rosary beads as he says, "I got a million ways to get it". For what? Why? Publicity, because 'you're Jay-Z and you can do what ever you want now', just for kicks? We may never know the truth. But would he make it that obvious if he really was something other than what we thought? Probably not. But either way, Jay is definitely keeping people intrigued. What a way to start the new year.
